Monies too tight to mention

For the first time in history, we are experiencing a slow down in social mobility, due to sky high prices and we have no idea where this ends or what it will look like. After WW2 we had a housing crisis (surprise surprise, we’ve got one now) Various methods were tried to boost the housing sector dating back to the end of WW1 Some of these schemes were difficult to police and so enforcement was patchy and helps to reinforce the feeling of short-termism. Much of this stems from a tendency to label any plan to aid the less well off as Marxist (or similar)

This, in turn, leads to stop-start policies being introduced. Great for a democratic process, useless for a family forced to live in temporary accommodation. Herein lies the nub of the problem; failure by the right to accept a safety net prohibits progress, arguments put up by the left also impede things.

We are in dire need of consistency. These push me-pull me antics are ensuring that trust in our policy makers is eroding fast. Please get it sorted.
